Job summary

USP is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer in Rockville, MD to translate enterprise talent strategy into scalable learning experiences that build capability and drive performance.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Talent Strategy & Development, you will design learner-centric solutions and collaborate with HRBPs and leaders to align learning with workforce strategy, capability needs, and leadership readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Demonstrated ISD expertise with hands-on experience.
• Strong proficiency with instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) and LMS platforms.
• Experience building enterprise-level learning strategies in global organizations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative learning solutions (digital, ILT, blended) aligned to enterprise priorities.
• Apply modern instructional design methodologies to build scalable experiences.
• Translate business needs into targeted learning interventions.
• Develop curriculum architectures, learning journeys and capability pathways.
