2nd Adventure Services, the shared services group behind Brownells, is seeking a Senior Engagement & Development Specialist in Grinnell, IA. This hybrid role partners with our Chief Human Resources Officer to design structured learning programs, strengthen employee engagement, and drive leadership development across teams.

You will build and manage L&D processes, develop engaging training resources, facilitate orientations, and analyze HR data to measure program impact.

Competenze

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience in Learning & Development
• Current SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
• Hands-on experience using learning management systems (LMS) to administer training, track completion, and maintain records
• Experience managing employee engagement programs or initiatives

Mansioni

• Build L&D programs and processes: identify skill gaps and partner with leaders to develop structured training programs
• Create and facilitate learning: develop engaging training resources and coordinate new hire orientations
• Manage learning activities and systems: coordinate schedules, logistics, and LMS administration
• Strengthen employee engagement: lead initiatives that promote connection and a positive experience
• Turn data into action: analyze HR data and surveys to identify trends and evaluate program effectiveness
• Connect and communicate: develop internal communications and coordinate employee initiatives
