The Senior Learning & Development Leader (SLDL) is primarily responsible for the successful development, delivery, execution, and management of all the Client's training-related needs. The SLDL is expected to comprehend and communicate the disease state, marketplace, and product-specific materials and must possess effective facilitation and communication skills. As a representative of the field-based medical affairs team, the candidate should be highly competent in HCP engagement, customer-facing teams, and applying skills in complex internal and external customer environments.

Job Responsibilities

Liaison Responsibilities

  • Support teams by leading efforts around ongoing training content for new hire training, national sales meetings, POA meetings, manager meetings, and other training initiatives.
  • Interface with Client Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to help identify, build, and deliver relevant training to teams.

Design Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing learning & development needs analyses.
  • Create and maintain a workable Training Plan to determine goals, strategies, and tactics to achieve client satisfaction.
  • Develop training concepts, objectives, descriptions, and sequencing for all training efforts.
  • Work with Leadership to determine metrics and measurements to assess training success.

Development Responsibilities

  • Design and develop content for all training delivery formats & work with content developers/vendors as appropriate.
  • Nurture training concepts to ensure alignment with strategic brand objectives.
  • Engage with designated FBMS and Client HQ members throughout development.
  • Oversee live training logistics, including scheduling, printing guides, and facilities.
  • Conduct facilitator training and support delivery as needed.
  • Manage live training intellectual property and leverage existing assets for efficiency.

Delivery Responsibilities (most critical)

  • Deliver all training programs, including new-hire, advanced, NSMs, and POAs, both live and virtual.
  • Manage classroom environment to meet learning objectives.
  • Instruct participants during training sessions and evening programs.
  • Evaluate participant competency levels and provide feedback promptly.

Note: This is a 6-month contract, which may transition into a PT position for 2-3 years based on performance and business needs.

  • Remote role with some travel to NJ for meetings and training.

Job Qualifications

Education

Required: 4-year college degree.

Preferred: MBA or master's in instructional design. Experience in Women's Health is a plus.

Experience

Required: 2-3 years of pharma sales training experience, demonstrated pharma sales training skills, high-level PowerPoint skills.

Preferred: Instructional design, facilitation, and learning & development experience.

The anticipated hourly rate is $75.00 - $87.00, depending on qualifications and skills.
