The Senior Learning & Development Leader (SLDL) is responsible for developing, delivering, executing, and managing all training needs for the Client. The SLDL must understand and communicate disease states, marketplace, and product-specific materials, and possess strong facilitation and communication skills. As a representative of the medical affairs team, the candidate should be proficient in HCP engagement, customer-facing interactions, and applying skills in complex environments.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Lead efforts in ongoing training content for new hires, national sales meetings, POA meetings, manager meetings, and other initiatives.
  2. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and cross-functional teams to identify and deliver relevant training.

Design Responsibilities

  1. Conduct training needs analysis.
  2. Create and maintain a Training Plan to meet client satisfaction goals.
  3. Develop training concepts, objectives, and sequencing.
  4. Work with leadership to define metrics for training success.

Development Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop training content, coordinating with content developers/vendors.
  2. Ensure training concepts align with brand objectives.
  3. Engage with FBMS and Client HQ throughout development.
  4. Oversee live training logistics and preparation.
  5. Train facilitators and support content delivery.
  6. Manage training intellectual property and leverage existing assets.

Delivery Responsibilities (most critical)

  1. Deliver training programs, including new hire, advanced, NSMs, and POAs, both live and virtual.
  2. Manage classroom environment to meet learning objectives.
  3. Instruct participants and evaluate competency levels, providing feedback.

Note: This is a 6-month contract transitioning to a part-time role based on performance and business needs.

  • Remote role with some travel to NJ for meetings and training.

Qualifications

Education

Preferred: MBA or master's in instructional design.

Experience

Required: 2-3 years of pharma sales training experience, high-level PowerPoint skills.

Preferred: Instructional design, facilitation, learning & development experience.

The hourly rate ranges from $75.00 to $87.00, depending on qualifications and skills.
