Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Learning Design Professional to analyze needs, design solutions and write storyboards, scripts and performance support for diverse learning initiatives. You’ll partner with SMEs, develop curriculum and measure training impact to improve consumer experiences.

The role emphasizes adult learning theory, instructional design and collaboration in a remote, dynamic environment. Travel to Humana offices may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Learning and Performance, Education, Performance Consulting, Industrial/Organizational Development, HR, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Adult Education or Instructional Design.
• Experience in a consumer-centric company within the learning function.
• Progressive business experience with learning strategies and adult learning theories.
• Experience measuring learning solutions and tying to performance.
• Project management experience.
• Excellent written, grammatical and verbal communication skills.
• Passionate about improving consumer experiences.
• Flexible in a fluid, changing environment; able to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Apply instructional design, psychology and adult learning theory to close gaps.
• Analyze content, design solutions, and write storyboards, scripts and performance aids.
• Coordinate assessments to measure training effectiveness.
• Develop mobile learning and manuals; align with SMEs.
• Track training effectiveness via satisfaction, proficiency and job performance.
• Guide Facilitators and use social tools to enable learning.
• Develop curriculum and job aids; conduct needs analysis with clients.
• Influence department strategy and decide on technical approaches.
