Job summary

Service Corporation International seeks a Training & Development Manager to lead the design, development, and execution of learning solutions across SCI Direct. You will partner with business leaders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective learning experiences.

The role covers digital learning, instructor-led and virtual training, video scripts and storyboards, job aids, assessments, and learner support tools, with a focus on innovative, scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development or related field.
• Hands-on instructional design experience across needs assessment, objectives, design, development, and evaluation.
• Experience creating digital learning, instructor-led or virtual training, video-based learning, and job aids.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders and SMEs to identify performance and learning needs.
• Apply instructional design practices and adult learning principles to create learning experiences.
• Develop measurable objectives, assessments, and reinforcement strategies aligned with business outcomes.
• Design blended learning solutions (digital, ILT, virtual, microlearning, video) and related materials.
• Lead content development, including scripts, storyboards, outlines, and production guidance.
• Oversee quality, accuracy, and outcomes of learning materials and programs.
• Provide leadership for recurring learning programs and learning technology initiatives.
