Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a Senior Learning, Development & Skills Facilitator to drive high‑quality learning and capability across the group. You will design, develop and deliver programs aligned with national requirements and workforce needs, using digital solutions to engage diverse learners.

You will lead evaluation, share expertise, and support ongoing learning post-course, ensuring quality and continuous improvement across five hospital sites and beyond.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level education or equivalent in learning and development.
• Experience of stakeholder engagement to develop learning proposals.
• Experience delivering inclusive learning interventions.
• Ability to deal with sensitive situations effectively.
• Experience maintaining information systems for training records.
• Experience facilitating and gaining participant feedback.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver learning and capability interventions aligned to national requirements and group priorities.
• Collaborate across boundaries to ensure learning is engaging, accessible and measurable impact.
• Lead on evaluating programmes and courses, both at delivery and post-course.
• Support ongoing learning post-course with reading materials and post-course resources.
• Update mandatory training e-learning courses as required.
• Formulate plans for design, delivery and evaluation considering conflicting priorities.
