Job summary

Modular Mission Critical is seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Leader to drive lean transformations across our manufacturing campus near Richmond, VA. You will optimize processes, lead lean programs, and act as a change agent to instill a culture of continuous improvement.

The role requires 10+ years of lean transformation leadership in manufacturing or related environments, with strong skills in VSM, Kaizen, 5S, and visual management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years leading lean transformations in manufacturing, supply chain, or service environments.
• Strong understanding of lean principles: value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, visual management, and waste reduction.
• Demonstrated expertise in change management with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with data‑driven solutions.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end lean transformation initiatives across planning, implementation, and evaluation phases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities and develop lean strategies.
• Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and implement lean methods to reduce waste and boost productivity.
• Utilize value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and 5S for improvements.
• Act as a change agent to foster a culture of continuous improvement and secure buy‑in.
• Develop and deliver training on lean principles, tools, and techniques.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to measure lean initiative effectiveness; report progress.
• Stay current with industry trends and apply insights to drive innovation.
