Job summary

Modular Mission Critical is seeking a Director – Lean Enterprise to lead and sustain the company's Lean transformation across field construction, manufacturing facilities, and other sites. You will drive operational excellence, productivity, quality, schedule reliability, and cost reduction through Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
• 16+ years of progressive operational leadership experience.
• 10+ years leading Lean transformation initiatives in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments.
• Demonstrated success implementing Lean systems across multiple business units or locations.
• Experience leading large-scale organizational change initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Ability to travel regularly to manufacturing facilities and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and execute the enterprise Lean strategy aligned with company growth and operational goals.
• Lead deployment of lean principles into our construction job sites, collaborating with project executives, project managers, superintendents, and field leadership to improve project delivery (labor productivity, schedule adherence, and field execution consistency).
• Coordinate external consulting support in our job sites as needed in support of lean transformation.
• Support lean implementation efforts within manufacturing and modular assembly facilities and all other areas of M.C. Dean as required.
• Facilitate alignment between manufacturing and field operations to maximize prefabrication and modularization benefits.
• Serve as an internal subject matter expert for Lean principles.
• Coach leaders at all levels on Lean leadership behaviors and problem-solving techniques.
