Job summary

Puget Sound Energy in Washington state is seeking a Senior Process Improvement Analyst to lead Kaizen workshops, value stream mapping and A3 problem-solving across major programs.

You will identify and optimize business processes using data-driven methods to improve quality, reduce costs and boost customer satisfaction, collaborating with cross-functional teams and coaching others in continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology, process improvement or equivalent.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certification.
• 5 years leading high-involvement process improvement/change management efforts.
• Experience using analytical methods to study and improve processes.
• Proficient with Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP BW/Modules.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a portfolio of process improvement events within a designated unit and provides guidance to leadership.
• Conducts root-cause analyses to determine strategic recommendations for new processes and waste removal.
• Develops and presents data-driven strategic recommendations and may implement changes.
• Partners with Enterprise Performance Management to identify and track improvement benefits.
• Uses statistical methods to study data, identify trends and metrics with cross-functional teams.
• Facilitates cross-departmental change and coaching across teams.
