Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Senior Business Improvement Consultant to lead enterprise-wide process-improvement initiatives. The role requires Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent, with Green Belt considered. Significant consulting experience or an engineering degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum 5 years in management or management consulting role, business development, large scale project management, or process improvement leadership.
• Requires Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent training/consultant experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads and implements a wide variety of business improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness and profitability.
• Coaches project teams on tools to assess people, process and systems performance.
• Partners with regional process improvement initiatives to align with enterprise strategy.
• Establishes and monitors metrics and teaches managers to use tools to manage gains.
• Develops cross-organizational relationships to improve communications and engagement.
• Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
