Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Senior Business Improvement Consultant to lead enterprise-wide initiatives, coach teams, and build client relationships across functional areas. The role blends in-office collaboration 1-2 days per week with flexible virtual work, and may involve travel to worksites as needed.

You will drive performance improvements, establish metrics, and partner with regional Six Sigma programs to ensure consistency and measurable results across the organization.

Qualifications

• Requires BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 5 years in management or management consulting role, business development, large scale project management, line operations with P/L responsibility, or process improvement leadership.
• Requires Lean, Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent training/consultant experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads and implements a wide variety of business improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness and profitability.
• Coaches project teams on use of tools for assessing people, process and systems performance.
• Collaborates with regional Six Sigma/TQM initiatives to align programs across the enterprise.
• Establishes and monitors metrics and measurements and teaches managers to use those tools to manage their environment and hold the improvement gains.
• Establishes cross-organizational relationships that translate into engagements and a track record of adopted practices that improve communications, results measurement, and the engagement management process.
• Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
