Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Senior Business Improvement Consultant to lead diverse process-improvement initiatives across functional teams. The role emphasizes coaching project teams on people, process and systems performance, and aligning with Six Sigma/TQM programs to deliver measurable improvements.

The position requires Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent, a related degree and at least 5 years of experience in management or consulting.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 5 years in management or management consulting role, business development, large scale project management, line operations with P/L responsibility, or process improvement leadership; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Responsibilities

• Leads and implements a wide variety of business improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness and profitability of the organization.
• Coaches project teams on use of tools for assessing people, process and systems performance.
• Collaboratively partners with regional process improvement initiatives such as Six Sigma and TQM, to leverage common initiatives, eliminate duplication and ensure alignment with our business improvement and innovation value across the enterprise.
• Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
