Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations at a facility in Middlesex County, New Jersey. You will drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost objectives while shaping a culture of continuous improvement.

You will supervise production supervisors and operators, deploy Lean tools, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing operations experience.
• Leadership experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, medical devices, electronics, or a similar industry is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Proven success improving operational performance and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and production operations
• Manage, coach, and develop production supervisors and team members
• Monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, labor efficiency, scrap, and productivity
• Improve performance through Lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement initiatives
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements
• Support capacity planning, scheduling, and on-time delivery
