Job summary

Atrium Staffing seeks a Manufacturing Operations Manager for a leading New Jersey-based manufacturer. This role oversees daily manufacturing and shipping in a fast-paced setting, driving Lean practices, continuous improvement, automation, and workforce development to sustain operational excellence and growth.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, strong ERP and budgeting experience, and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, planning, inventory management, shop floor control, and ERP systems.
Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement track record.
Experience managing budgets, costs, labor efficiency, and KPIs.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead daily manufacturing and shipping operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
Manage operational performance and profitability across assigned product lines.
Monitor KPIs including throughput, labor efficiency, quality, schedule adherence, and on-time delivery.
Drive data-driven decisions to improve performance and support strategic goals.
Ensure production schedules align with demand and delivery commitments.
Develop and manage operational budgets; partner with Finance to improve cost performance.
