Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for the Kings Mountain, NC facility to design, implement and sustain gear and shaft manufacturing processes for OEM and aftermarket customers. You will drive process improvements, safety, quality, and productivity through Lean methods and cross‑functional teamwork.

Responsibilities include updating PFMEAs, work instructions, control plans, and deploying new technologies to improve reliability and throughput.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum of three (3) years experience in a manufacturing environment.
Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

Monitor, improve and maintain processes for transmission components in the Kings Mountain facility.
Develop safe work methods and processes to achieve high quality.
Update work instructions, PFMEA, process flows, control plans, and related documents.
Lead capital planning, equipment evaluations, and cross‑functional project teams.
Implement fail‑safe strategies and assess changes for impact on processes.
