Job summary

Eaton's Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to join the Reno, NV facility. This on-site role leads Lean initiatives, drives the Operational Excellence framework, and supports safety and quality improvements.

You will mentor teams, facilitate Kaizen events, conduct Value Stream Mapping, and promote 5S and standard work across the plant, collaborating with EHS and leadership to achieve tangible performance gains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience applying Lean tools (5S, Standard Work, Set Up Reduction, VSM, TPM, Lean Material Flow) in a manufacturing environment.
• Direct or indirect leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience leading and organizing medium to large scale Kaizen events utilizing principles of the Toyota Production System (TPS).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operational Excellence (OPEX) strategic vision and roadmaps for the Reno facility.
• Provide expertise for Eaton Business System (EBS) tools and training.
• Lead and facilitate BOS meetings to drive continuous improvement.
• Drive Cost-Out accountability for the site aligned with Profit Plan objectives.
• Lead CIF deployment (visual controls, standard work, Gemba walks, daily accountability).
• Develop local ELSS/CI Tool Champions and provide training/consulting support.
• Develop and implement a plant-wide training plan.
• Ensure a safe work environment and promote zero-incident safety culture.
• Utilize ADKAR change management to sustain process improvements.
