Job summary

Wells is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to develop, deploy, and sustain the CI strategy across multiple precast concrete manufacturing facilities. You will drive operational excellence by applying Lean Manufacturing, structured problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making to improve safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and cost performance.

You will own the Tiered performance review system across all plants, coaching leadership, auditing discipline, and analyzing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of eight (8) years manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years leading CI programs across multiple sites or coaching others.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma certification.
• Ability to translate data into prioritized actions.
• Proficiency with Pareto analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site continuous improvement strategy and roadmap.
• Deploy CI standards, governance, and playbooks across facilities.
• Prioritize improvement projects and define enterprise performance targets and reporting cadence.
• Identify and replicate best practices across plants and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of CI projects with clear objectives and metrics.
• Coach CI Engineers and plant leaders to facilitate Tiered reviews and problem solving.
• Lead Kaizen events, workshops, and engage employees in CI initiatives.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory requirements are integrated into CI efforts.
