Job summary

GeorgiaGov is seeking a Senior Trainer Specialist to design, deliver, and assess leadership development for managers across Georgia. You will collaborate with stakeholders to create curriculum, provide coaching, and drive adoption of learning programs through classroom and virtual sessions.

The role emphasizes adult learning theory, instructional design, and strong project management to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects. Travel across Georgia is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and three years of educational/training experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, education or related field is preferred.
• Experience with adult learning theory and instructional design is required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and assesses leadership training for new and emerging leaders.
• Designs leadership program content and curriculum with stakeholders.
• Provides training and coaching for managers and staff.
• Presents on distance learning and course design at meetings as needed.
• Researches and develops leadership and professional development courses.
• Coordinates training plans and tracks participation and outcomes.
• Manages LMS course registrations and schedules.
