Job summary

State of Georgia is seeking a Sr. Training & Development Specialist for the State Accounting Office to design and deliver training programs across multiple modalities. The role focuses on scalable instructor‑led sessions, eLearning, and content development to improve learning outcomes.

Under guidance, you will lead content creation, ensure accessibility standards, and coordinate facilitators. A degree and several years of training experience are required; background in accounting is a plus.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent education and experience in related field.
• 5–10 years of instructor‑led training experience.
• Experience authoring eLearning with Articulate Storyline (3–5 years).
• Strong knowledge of ADDIE training design methodology.
• Experience with Workday Learning training development and support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging in person and virtual training that supports adult learning and measurable outcomes.
• Develop instructor‑led and eLearning content and materials for multiple modalities using tools including Articulate Storyline 360.
• Lead eLearning analysis, storyboarding, scripting, design, quality assurance, accessibility review, publishing, and maintenance.
• Assist with training schedules and coordination of facilitators, data staging, materials, communications, logistics, and perform the Producer role for other instructors as they delivery training.
• Serve as a proactive lead resource for other Training and Development Specialists by providing guidance, coaching, feedback, and quality review for training delivery and eLearning development.
• Provide learner support leveraging the CRM system, troubleshoot issues, reinforce key concepts, and update training content.
