Qualifications

Master's or terminal degree in public administration, political science, education, finance, accounting, business management, higher education, or closely related field.
Previous experience in economic development is essential; 10+ years preferred for progression in the field.
Ability to design, develop, and deliver training and professional development programs.

Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate training, education, and professional development for local and state governments and economic development partners.
Create curriculum and instructional materials; coordinate and deliver courses; assess program effectiveness and outcomes.
Establish and maintain partnerships with government officials, economic development orgs, and University partners.
Identify emerging training needs and expand the Institute’s impact through contracted services and certificate programs.
