Job summary

The State of Georgia is seeking a Training Coordinator in Savannah to lead industry job and training analysis, develop training plans and design performance-based training for Quick Start projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating a project team, instructors, and resources, delivering training and maintaining training records. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and training experience are required with possible manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional design, Business, Engineering, Adult Education, Human Resources Development or a related field.
• Two years business experience in a training environment OR six years business experience in a training environment.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Development, Instructional Design, Business, Engineering, Adult Education or related field with four to eight years manufacturing training experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct industry job and training analysis.
• Develop training plans and design performance-based training for Quick Start projects.
• Coordinate a project team, instructional designers and instructors to develop, schedule and deliver training.
• Monitor activity, maintain training records, and research resources and technologies for skills assessment.
