Job summary

Selective Insurance in Scottsdale seeks a seasoned leader to design and oversee enterprise underwriting learning and enablement. You will own strategy, governance, onboarding, training programs, and measurement to improve underwriting performance across regions.

This role partners with Casualty and Property teams, drives modernization including AI-enabled content and LMS strategy, and develops early-career programs. Travel may be required to support enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in learning and development within insurance or financial services.
• 5+ years of leadership/management overseeing learning teams and strategic training programs.

Responsibilities

• Designs and owns the enterprise learning architecture for underwriting across lines and levels.
• Evaluates delivery modalities including AI-enabled content, simulations, eLearning, and LMS.
• Leads regional standardization and collaboration with LOB Technical teams to align content with guidelines.
• Manages training effectiveness metrics tied to underwriting quality and profitability.
