Job summary

Selective Insurance seeks a seasoned Learning & Enablement leader to design and scale underwriting training across regions, leveraging modern modalities and AI-enabled content. You will partner with Casualty and Property teams, drive governance, and measure business impact.

The role emphasizes enterprise strategy, regional standardization, and building a high-performing training organization; travel and driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Leadership in learning and development within insurance or financial services.
• Experience driving training effectiveness and leading teams.
• Knowledge of P&C underwriting operations preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel required

Responsibilities

• Design and own enterprise learning architecture for underwriting.
• Determine delivery methods using adult learning theories and modern modalities.
• Identify knowledge gaps using performance data and QA results.
• Measure training effectiveness and business impact.
• Standardize training across regions and collaborate with LOB teams.
• Lead the Learning & Enablement team and manage budget.
