University of New England is seeking an Associate Director of Student Employment to lead and coordinate the university’s student employment programs, including Federal Work Study and institutional work. The role focuses on compliance, payroll accuracy, and effective hiring workflows across Payroll, HR, and Student Financial Services.

The successful candidate will supervise the Assistant Director and student employees, develop policies and training materials, and collaborate with campus partners

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required and 5+ years in student employment, financial aid, payroll, HR, or related admin areas.
• Experience administering FWS or federally regulated student employment programs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the student employment programs including FWS and institutional employment.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and payroll processing requirements.
• Coordinate hiring workflows, eligibility verification, onboarding, and supervisor approvals.
• Collaborate with Payroll, HR, and campus departments to support payroll processing and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain student employment policies, training materials, and resources.
• Supervise the Assistant Director and student staff; provide performance feedback.
