Job summary

Verathon, a global medical device company headquartered in Bothell, WA, seeks a Sr Manager, People Operations to lead HR technology, operations, onboarding, and compliance. You will build scalable processes, improve service delivery, and drive continuous improvement across the People function and Total Rewards.

You will own core annual HR processes, optimize systems (UKG), and partner with Finance on payroll while balancing employee experience with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in HR/People Operations.
• Experience leading HR Technology systems, preferably UKG.
• Strong analytics and data-driven decision making.
• Knowledge of HR laws and compliance in multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR Technology, HR Operations, onboarding, leaves, compliance, and related services.
• Build scalable People Operations that deliver reliable, efficient services.
• Partner with HR core functions to improve service delivery using data and governance.
• Own core annual processes: salary planning, performance reviews, promotions.
• Define clear ownership, governance, and documentation across programs.
• Leverage AI and automation to simplify work and improve scalability.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and manage audits and filings.
• Partner with Finance on payroll processing and issue resolution.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Translate evolving organizational needs into effective people processes.
