Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Community Living Division Manager to lead residential programs, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services and regulatory compliance. You will supervise Residential Managers, oversee operations and budgets, advance QA, and advocate for individuals served.

This role requires strong leadership, collaboration with executives, and a commitment to staff development and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, mentoring, and performance support to Residential Managers.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Community Living to assess supervisory effectiveness and staff development.
  • Conduct regular supervisory meetings to review service delivery, staffing, quality outcomes, and case management.
  • Serve as a transformational leader promoting person-centered practices and organizational values.
  • Oversee daily operations of residential programs ensuring compliance with policies, licensing, and regulations.
  • Review timekeeping, staffing, overtime, budget reports, and other operational docs.
  • Develop and monitor corrective action plans from QA reviews, inspections, and audits.
  • Conduct site visits and environmental assessments for safe, healthy living environments.
  • Monitor program budgets and resource utilization for fiscal responsibility.
  • Establish accountability systems for petty cash, resident funds, and vehicle use.
  • Conduct QA reviews and recommend improvements to program performance.
  • Review incident reports and ensure appropriate follow-up and reporting.
  • Monitor communication systems and procedures across programs.
  • Track performance metrics for residential services and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other managers to address challenges and drive improvements.
  • Facilitate ISPs, planning meetings, reviews, and specialized support meetings.
  • Oversee quarterly reports and other required documentation.
  • Coordinate admissions, transfers, discharges, assessments, and intake processes.
  • Advocate for individuals by promoting access to community resources and services.
  • Coordinate behavioral consultations and support development of behavior plans.
  • Modify service plans as needs change and ensure health-related objectives are met.
  • Ensure staff receive training and competency-based instruction per regulatory requirements.
  • Support professional development and onboarding for staff.
  • Provide training in person-centered planning, Mandt, CPR/First Aid, and Human Rights.
  • Participate in hiring, interviewing, and retention of staff.
  • Support staff in conflict resolution and performance improvement.
  • Develop relationships with individuals served, families, guardians, community partners, and regulators.
  • Provide program tours and respond to inquiries from stakeholders.
  • Attend staff, administrative, and interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and address emergencies outside business hours.
  • Provide hands-on support and coaching to staff to ensure quality services.
  • Utilize technology and data systems to perform duties efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
