State Street Corporation is seeking a seasoned operations leader to oversee middle office initiatives for its alternative investments team in Irvine, CA. The role focuses on syndicated bank loans, fund accounting and trade processing across front-to-back office workflows.

You will manage a global team, ensure high-quality service delivery, and collaborate with clients and custodians to resolve inquiries while driving process improvements and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience in custody, fund accounting and/or trade processing.
• Strong knowledge of financial securities markets, language and products; awareness of legal and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office; VBA and Business Objects are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage middle/back office operations initiatives for the alternative arm of State Street’s IMS client.
• Oversee front-to-back office flow with focus on bank loans and alternatives.
• Provide timely support and resolution of inquiries across internal teams, custodians and clients.
• Prepare standardized accounting activity reports and client communications.
• Serve as primary escalation point for operational issues and drive continuous improvement.
