Job summary

State Street in Irvine seeks a hands-on Middle Office leader to drive end-to-end trade management and settlements for a major asset manager client. You will own production issue ownership, escalation handling, and modernization across multi-location teams.

Role emphasizes control, timely settlement, and clear client communications, with extensive interaction with brokers, custodians, and market infrastructures. 7–10 years of experience in trade management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7-10 years of relevant financial services experience, including substantial experience in trade management and settlements.
• Experience leading client-facing Middle Office operations across global markets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned components of daily trade management and settlement delivery across the lifecycle.
• Ensure trades are complete, accurate and market-ready with correct data.
• Monitor settlement status, unmatched/fallen trades and aged exceptions; drive remediation.
• Lead same-day responses to production incidents and client escalations.
• Maintain relationships with clients, brokers, custodians and market infrastructures.
• Operate a robust control environment including maker-checker controls and reconciliations.
