Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional programs that translate product priorities into execution and measurable outcomes. This remote role supports the outbound product team across the US.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to establish ownership, governance, and metrics, driving programs from concept to commercialization while influencing senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in program management, product management, product operations, technology leadership, or related roles.
• Proven experience leading large, complex programs across multiple teams.
• Ability to establish program structure, ownership, governance, and success metrics.
• Strong analytical and business skills to use data for prioritizing work and decisions.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of enterprise networking and routing concepts; capable to lead programs involving network connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional programs tied to product, customer, and business priorities.
• Turn broad objectives into defined programs with milestones, owners, dependencies, and metrics.
• Establish governance and operating rhythm across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
• Identify risks and decisions early; drive to resolution with clear visibility.
• Lead programs supporting product launches, commercialization, and customer adoption.
• Partner with Product leaders to align priorities with work across the business.
• Use data to establish baselines, measure progress, and inform decisions; build repeatable processes.
