Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional programs that translate product and business priorities into executable plans. You will drive ownership, governance, and success metrics across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Finance, delivering measurable outcomes.

You will partner with Product leaders to align roadmaps with broader business needs, manage risk, dependencies, and ensure alignment with executives while focusing on AI‑ready connectivity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in program management, product management, product operations, technology leadership, or related roles.
• Proven experience leading large, complex programs across multiple teams, workstreams, and organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to define program structure, ownership, governance, and success metrics and drive execution.
• Strong analytical and business skills with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking and routing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional programs tied to key product, customer, and business priorities.
• Turn broad objectives into clear programs with defined outcomes, workstreams, milestones, owners, dependencies, and measures of success.
• Establish the structure, governance, and operating rhythm to drive execution across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and partners.
• Identify risks, gaps, and decisions early, drive them to resolution, and report needs to leadership.
• Lead programs supporting product launches, commercialization, customer adoption, migrations, partnerships, and other key initiatives.
• Partner with Product leaders to align roadmap priorities with work across the business and gather insights for decisions.
• Use data to establish baselines, measure progress, and improve execution of complex programs.
