Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Thermal/Fluids Analysis and Design team within the Lunar Permanence unit. You will drive staffing, technical direction, and process improvements for complex analysis of core components for Blue Moon landers.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with product leads, manage schedules, and support safety culture while advancing technology, cost reduction, and capability maturity for lunar transportation systems.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years leading technical teams with responsibility for quality.
• 10+ years in static structural, modal, vibration, fatigue and damage tolerance.
• Strong understanding of first-principles analysis.
• Experience as Structural Integrity Lead or Analysis Lead.
• Able to balance multiple projects and self-direct.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of structural analysts; review technical work for quality.
• Coordinate staffing, budgets, and project timelines with product leads.
• Provide technical input and roadmap planning for future capabilities.
• Mentor, develop, and coach team members; perform performance discussions.
• Engage with external stakeholders for benchmarking and collaboration.
