Job summary
JPMorgan Chase, within the Commercial Investment Banking Fraud Prevention team, is seeking a Senior Lead Site Reliability Engineer to drive reliability, scalable infrastructure and cloud-native practices across Kubernetes and AWS.
You will own production health, define SLOs/SLIs, automate with Terraform, Spinnaker and Harness, and support incident response, RCAs, and safe deployments. This role emphasizes proactive risk management and strong collaboration across engineering teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in SRE/DevOps or production engineering.
- Hands-on with Kubernetes workloads in production.
- Experience with AWS services (EKS/ECS/Lambda, DynamoDB, S3).
- Proficient in CI/CD tools like Spinnaker/Harness.
Responsibilities
- Own production reliability outcomes and monitor health metrics.
- Define and evolve SLIs/SLOs and alerting, reduce noise.
- Improve observability with metrics, logs, traces and dashboards.
- Lead incident response, RCAs, and remediation actions.
- Operate Kubernetes workloads and AWS serverless components.
- Improve release engineering and deployment safety.
- Build IaC and automation with Terraform for repeatable environments.
- Strengthen database/data-service reliability in collaboration with teams.
- Embed security controls into operations and ensure data sensitivity compliance.
