Job summary

Lead design, code reviews, and governance while ensuring security, performance, and reliability of critical financial software applications in an enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s) including Java, Microservices, AWS and AI.
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data sensitivity considerations, security, and resiliency.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to the business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, speed, and operations with measurable validation standards.
• Uses SDLC tools and approved AI capabilities to improve automation value.
• Influences product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
