Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an experienced AWS Lead Software Engineer-Java to join the Consumer and Community Banking division's Proprietary Wallets team. You will work in an agile environment to design, build, and deliver secure, scalable technology products, serving as a core technical contributor across multiple functions.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering in Java/J2EE.
Experience leading technologist teams and guiding goals.
Hands-on delivery of system design, application development, testing, and operations.
Advanced knowledge of cloud, AI/ML, and modern tech stacks.
Ability to tackle design problems with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to business and teams, contractors, and vendors.
Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' code.
Drive product design decisions affecting functionality and operations.
Act as a subject matter expert for one or more areas of focus.
Promote enterprise frameworks, tools, and SDLC practices.
