Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer in the Consumer and Community Banking Connected Commerce team to drive secure, scalable, and high-impact technology products. You will lead and guide engineering efforts across multiple tech stacks, shaping architecture and delivery through the SDLC.

You will contribute to designing and delivering RESTful services, data pipelines, and cloud-native solutions on AWS, with a strong emphasis on performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items with Java 21 and RESTful backend development using Spring Boot.
• Experience designing, building and maintaining high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines using Apache Kafka, KSQL and Kafka Streams.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, Postgres, Cassandra.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining API services with Microservices and Domain-Driven Design patterns.
• Experience with Terraform to provision AWS cloud services.
• Experience with AWS EKS, EC2, ECS, EventBridge, Lambda, Route53, and S3.
• Advanced knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (cloud, AI/ML, mobile, etc.).
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with minimal oversight.
• Practical cloud-native experience.
• Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
