Job summary

You will design cloud-native Java services on AWS, mentor engineers, collaborate with product and data partners to improve user experience, and drive data pipelines and AI‑assisted development across the SDLC to raise delivery speed and reliability.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years experience.
• Advanced Java experience with Spring Boot-based services in a microservices style.
• Experience delivering system design, development, automated testing, and production stability.
• Hands-on cloud-native development on AWS and modern CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency with relational DBs/SQL and data modeling for high throughput.
• Knowledge of event streaming with Kafka and AI-assisted tooling usage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design and delivery of scalable Java services and APIs.
• Architect and implement cloud‑native solutions on AWS for reliability and cost‑aware scalability.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design guidance, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with product/design/data partners to define technical strategies.
• Build and optimize data pipelines with Databricks and Apache Spark for analytics/ML.
• Advance CI/CD, automated testing, and secure software development practices.
• Drive AI‑assisted engineering practices with measurable validation and reuse.
• Apply SDLC tooling knowledge to maximize automation value.
