Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to act as a technical authority for secure, healthy applications at scale. You will drive AI-assisted engineering adoption, reduce vulnerabilities, and modernize applications through sound architectural principles and lifecycle management.

You will partner with security and architecture teams, promote responsible AI use, and guide teams toward secure, efficient delivery across the enterprise. This role reports into Corporate Technology.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining secure, production-grade applications with attention to application health.
Hands-on experience with lifecycle management practices including modernization and vulnerability remediation.

Responsibilities

Drive adoption and governance of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices across teams.
Champion application health standards across the engineering organization.
Lead lifecycle management efforts to remediate aging components and vulnerabilities.
Partner with architecture and security teams to embed secure-by-design principles.
Evaluate and guide teams on responsible use of AI coding tools and human-in-the-loop validation.
Contribute to evolving engineering standards and tooling to reduce manual toil.
Mentor engineers to elevate team capability in AI-enabled development and lifecycle practices.
Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices with measurable validation standards.
