Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in New Jersey's Commercial & Investment Bank Digital Channel team seeks a Senior Lead Software Engineer to design and implement autonomous agent capabilities that plan, execute, validate, and submit code changes at scale across runtime upgrades and framework migrations.

You will lead CI/CD integrations, establish provenance controls, and ensure secure, auditable delivery of machine-generated changes, while mentoring engineers and driving reliability, observability, and standards

Qualifications

• Formal training and 5+ years of software engineering in a corporate setting.
• Proven experience with CI/CD, release engineering, and audit trails.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, API development, and Python scripting skills.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate AI-driven remediation workflows into enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Build evaluation harnesses to prove agent quality and delivery readiness at scale.
• Implement PR-provenance contracts end-to-end with audit-trail and attestation.
• Own subsystems within the harness and ensure reliability and observability.
