JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer within the Consumer and Community Banking - Digital Technology team to push the envelope in agile delivery of secure, scalable technology products.

You will drive architectural decisions, mentor teams, and implement agentic AI-enabled development practices, aligning with enterprise standards and governance. The role emphasizes collaboration with product and engineering to define roadmaps and ensure high-quality production code

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience
Experience in system design, application development
Expert in one or more programming languages
Experience leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices
Strong understanding of responsible AI use and governance
Practical cloud-native experience

Responsibilities

Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworks
Develops secure production code and reviews/ debugs code
Architects and governs agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows to improve delivery at scale
Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to improve automation value
Advises cross-functional teams on technological matters within domain
Serves as the function’s go-to subject matter expert
Contributes to development of technical methods in line with product development
Creates durable, reusable software frameworks leveraged across teams
Influences leaders across business, product, and technology teams
Collaborates to define roadmaps and solution architectures toward target state
