Job summary

You will mentor engineers, implement AI-assisted development practices, and own Java-based services on AWS ECS/EKS with Postgres, focusing on security, reliability, and performance. This role requires multi-region deployments and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in programming skills in Java.
• Experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance to support the business and its teams.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices across teams with measurable validation standards.
• Applies SDLC tools to improve automation and delivery value.

• Advocates for firmwide SDLC frameworks, tools, and practices.
