Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build autonomous agent capabilities that plan, execute, validate, and submit code changes in bulk. You will focus on evaluation harnesses, CI/CD integrations, and provenance controls to scale safe, machine-authored changes across runtime upgrades and framework migrations.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of corporate experience.
• Experience with CI/CD, release engineering, audit-trail tooling, or related platforms.
• Strong hands-on Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, API dev, Python, and shell scripting skills.

Responsibilities

• Design AI-driven remediation workflows within enterprise CI/CD pipelines with audit trails.
• Build and operate evaluation harnesses for agent quality and delivery readiness at scale.
• Implement provenance contracts end-to-end including signed commits and attestations.
• Own subsystems in the harness: evaluation fixtures, replay tooling, and failure triage.
• Co-own reliability and observability via metrics, logs, dashboards, and alerting.
• Contribute to agent-skill reviews and ensure standards adoption across channels.
• Wiring-scale rollout of lint rules, quality gates, and migration checks in CI/CD.
• Instrument value metrics: repos evaluated, PR provenance-signed, run success rates.
