IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to a variety of end markets, including electrical, mechanical and communications contracting solutions for the commercial, industrial, residential and renewable energy markets.

As Lead Security Systems Technician, you will act as on-site coordinator and supervise crews for installation of security systems per drawings and manufacturer requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in security systems installation.
• Must possess a minimum of twelve (12) months supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Must possess and be able to effectively use the listed tools.
• Must have proven skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
• Must know the universal communications color codes.
• Must possess and be proficient with the listed tools.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Must meet Company minimum driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead project crews, ensure safe, quality-focused performance and provide necessary training.
• Coordinate with SS Project Manager to ensure productivity, completion, and budget adherence.
• Complete IES COMMERCIAL and project paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, work orders, etc).
• Serve as main on-site customer contact and attend meetings when required.
• Apply deep knowledge of card access, CCTV, CATV and intrusion systems; troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
