AbbVie is seeking a Principal Scientist II/Associate Director to lead Analytical Platform Sciences & Characterization within the tLNP CMC organization. You will guide a multidisciplinary team in advanced particle characterization, MS, and biophysical analysis to enable next-generation genetic medicines.

Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Analytical Chemistry with extensive industry experience.
- Deep expertise in analytical development and characterization of complex therapeutics (lipid nanoparticles, oligonucleotides, biologics).
- Expertise in particle characterization, MS, cryo-EM, spectroscopy, light scattering or related techniques.
Responsibilities
- Establish and execute the scientific strategy for Analytical Platform Sciences & Characterization.
- Drive development and application of advanced analytical technologies for tLNP portfolio.
- Lead multidisciplinary scientists and align activities with department objectives.
