Job summary

AbbVie’s Analytical Development team is seeking an LC Scientist to develop and troubleshoot LC-based methods supporting tLNP programs, including mAbs, lipids, LDNA, mRNA, and LNP/tLNP. You will lead method development and transfer while collaborating across CMC, QA, and external partners.

The role requires strong hands-on LC experience, problem solving, and a track record of delivering robust analytical solutions in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in analytical chemistry or related field.
• Hands-on LC method development experience and troubleshooting.
• Experience with multiple LC separation techniques (RP, IPRP, SEC, IEX/IEC, HIC).
• Familiarity with GxP, data integrity, and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, optimize, and execute LC-based methods for release, stability, characterization.
• Lead method qualification, transfer, and lifecycle management of LC methods.
• Provide guidance for LC testing at CDMOs and contract labs.
• Prepare technical reports, protocols, and analytical documentation.
