Job summary

AbbVie seeks an LC Scientist within the Analytical Development group to support tLNP programs. You will develop and troubleshoot LC methods for multiple modalities, including lipids and antibodies, and lead method qualification and lifecycle management while collaborating across global CMC teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on technique, problem solving, and communication of data-driven conclusions to stakeholders, with a focus on robust analytical solutions for mRNA and LNP products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field with appropriate industry experience.
• Hands-on LC method development experience, including RP/LIPRP/SEC/IEX, with capability to troubleshoot.
• Experience with DOE and method transfer/qualification in a regulated setting.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a GMP/GxP environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, optimize, and execute LC-based methods for release, stability, and characterization.
• Lead root-cause investigations of chromatographic performance and instrument issues.
• Provide technical guidance for LC testing at CDMOs and contract labs.
• Prepare technical reports, protocols, and method documentation.
