Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking an accomplished Product Manager to develop and drive strategy for consumer deposit products, including Prime and Premier Checking. You will own the roadmap, align objectives with customer needs, and lead lifecycle management for defined segments.

You will collaborate with Finance, Risk, and executive leadership to balance growth, pricing, risk, and experience investments, while guiding cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Product Management or related experience.
• Proven ability to influence strategy and outcomes without direct P&L ownership.
• Financial product knowledge with banking experience preferred.
• Strong Agile and end-to-end product lifecycle delivery experience.
• Analytical, data-driven with ability to present narratives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive strategy for consumer deposit products, including Prime and Premier Checking, spanning products, solutions, and end-to-end customer experiences


• Own the product roadmap and align strategic objectives, customer needs, economic outcomes, and delivery priorities


• Lead product design and lifecycle management for defined customer segments


• Provide product management leadership and strategic direction for consumer checking products and associated experiences


• Evaluate trade-offs across growth initiatives, pricing strategies, experience investments, and risk considerations with Finance and Risk leaders


• Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on innovative products and solutions


• Analyze customer insights, market and competitive dynamics, trends, regulatory requirements, and risk considerations


• Develop and influence business plans, success metrics, requirements, and change initiatives across teams and organizations


• Articulate product vision and strategy, define scope, establish measurable outcomes, and guide product evolution


• Engage and influence leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and delivery teams to drive alignment and execution


• Act as a senior thought partner to executive leadership by shaping agendas, framing decisions, influencing outcomes, and driving strategic clarity

Requirements

• 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education


• Proven senior-level accountability influencing product strategy, priorities, economics, and outcomes without formal P&L ownership


• Financial product management experience with strong knowledge of core banking products, including Prime and Premier Checking; banking experience preferred


• Strong product and program management expertise, including roadmap development, strategy, and end-to-end lifecycle delivery in an Agile environment


• Highly analytical and data-driven, with ability to synthesize insights, financials, and metrics


• Ability to deliver compelling, data-backed presentations and strategic narratives


• Ability to assess market and competitive dynamics and drive improvements to customer experience and operational efficiency


• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and gain alignment across senior leaders and key partners


• Ability to operate independently while mobilizing resources and motivating teams


• Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve complex problems in ambiguity within a highly matrixed organization


• Comfortable partnering with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders across channels, marketing, operations, and the broader business


• Highly organized with exceptional coordination and time-management skills


• Up to 10% travel
