Job description

  • Manage and provide strategic guidance to a team of product management professionals
  • Develop and implement bank products, services, programs, features, benefits, and characteristics
  • Manage a product or suite of products supporting business strategy
  • Lead people management, including hiring, goal setting, staff development, performance management, compensation decisions, and disciplinary actions
  • Lead diverse product teams and oversee operations, talent development, and initiative success
  • Present recommendations to senior management and executives
  • Coordinate and prioritize multiple initiatives and manage resource allocation
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, business sponsors, executives, lines of business, sales distribution, and external partners
  • Develop product management strategies, product roadmaps, business plans, expense plans, and product development calendars
  • Analyze customer, industry, market, and competitive trends through research, focus groups, and secondary research
  • Facilitate ideation sessions and develop business cases for new product development and growth
  • Manage product development budgets and optimize budget allocation
  • Quantify market analysis and assess product performance across lifecycle, quality, technical support, marketing, and sales support
  • Develop programs with marketing and channels to move buyers through the buying process
  • Monitor product performance, P&L, pricing, margin, volume, acquisition, retention, customer experience, engagement, and market share
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, legal, compliance, marketing, and internal/external service providers
  • Ensure products, policies, and processes meet risk appetite and regulatory requirements
  • Recruit, coach, develop, and manage employees; set objectives, track performance, provide feedback, and foster a diverse, high-performing team
  • Execute annual business plans and deliver results aligned with business strategies
  • Occasional domestic travel; sedentary and office-equipment work performed continuously
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree or product management certificate and/or 7+ years relevant experience
  • Previous Product experience
  • Advanced knowledge of product research, product analysis and development, forecasting, pricing, and competitive intelligence
  • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
  • Ability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate program/project activities
  • Ability to contribute to product management strategy and advise senior leadership
  • Skill in mentoring, coaching, and performance management
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships across teams and functions
