Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Product Leader to own the Wealth Brokerage roadmap, aligning business outcomes with regulatory requirements and technology strategy. You will collaborate with product owners, UX, architecture, and risk partners to shape epics, features, and measurable releases.

You will drive cross-functional discovery, set PI vision, and coordinate with engineering and data teams to deliver compliant, scalable solutions. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years in banking/financial services or similar.
  • 3+ years in product/analysis/technology/design.
  • 3+ years leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience defining and delivering large-scale online initiatives.
  • Ability to use data analytics and testing to drive decisions.
  • English language fluency required.

Responsibilities

  • Own product direction and delivery roadmap for Wealth Brokerage capabilities across client and teammate experiences, brokerage operations, workflow, data, and analytics.
  • Translate business outcomes, regulatory obligations, and tech opportunities into epics, features, and measurable releases.
  • Develop and maintain product vision and strategic roadmap aligned with objectives and technology strategy.
  • Research and analyze needs of clients, advisers, operations teams, and other target users.
  • Assess market, competitor, regulatory, and technology trends and convert findings into recommendations.
  • Partner with Product Owners and Agile delivery teams to define epics, features, acceptance criteria, and backlogs.
  • Set PI vision, objectives, and priorities; participate in PI planning, refinement, demos, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Lead cross-functional discovery with business, operations, UX, architecture, engineering, data, and risk partners.
  • Shape solutions using .NET/C#, SQL Server, Azure, Python, low-code platforms, workflow, and case-management technologies.
  • Define workflow and case-management requirements including intake, routing, approvals, queues, SLAs, and reporting.
  • Ensure secure access, data protection, records retention, traceability, and regulatory evidence.
  • Collaborate on modernization, cloud migration, application rationalization, integration, data lineage, observability, resilience, and disaster recovery.
  • Coordinate dependencies across APIs, batch/file interfaces, event-driven integrations, and enterprise platforms.
  • Obtain alignment from legal, compliance, privacy, information security, fraud, model risk, and governance partners.
  • Define product outcomes and KPIs using telemetry, workflow metrics, and adoption measures.
  • Plan releases and adoption with readiness, communications, training, support, and operations partners.
  • Manage product risks, issues, dependencies, lifecycle processes, controls, audit, and remediation commitments.
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap, decisions, delivery status, and risks to executives and stakeholders.

Job description


  • Own product direction and delivery roadmap for Wealth Brokerage capabilities across client and teammate experiences, brokerage operations, workflow, data, and analytics

  • Develop and maintain product vision and strategic roadmap aligned with business objectives, client needs, operational priorities, and technology strategy

  • Research and analyze needs of clients, advisers, operations teams, supervisors, and other target users

  • Assess market, competitor, regulatory, and technology trends and convert findings into recommendations and roadmap decisions

  • Partner with Product Owners and Agile delivery teams to define epics, features, acceptance outcomes, non-functional requirements, and prioritized backlogs

  • Set PI vision, objectives, and priorities; participate in PI planning, refinement, demonstrations, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies

  • Lead cross-functional discovery with business, operations, UX, architecture, engineering, data, and risk partners

  • Shape solutions using .NET/C#, SQL Server, Azure, Python, low-code platforms, workflow, and case-management technologies

  • Coordinate dependencies across APIs, batch/file interfaces, event-driven integrations, enterprise data platforms, vendors, and reporting consumers

  • Obtain alignment and approvals from legal, compliance, privacy, information security, fraud, model risk, operational risk, architecture, and governance partners

  • Define product outcomes and KPIs using telemetry, workflow metrics, operational data, client feedback, defects, and adoption measures

  • Plan releases and adoption with readiness, communications, training, support, and operations partners

  • Manage product risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, lifecycle processes, controls, audit, and remediation commitments

  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap, decisions, delivery status, and risks to executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, design, technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience

  • Five or more years of banking, financial services, or other relevant work experience

  • Three or more years of product, analysis, technology, and/or design experience

  • Three or more years of leading cross-functional teams

  • Experience defining/driving vision of experience programs and/or partnership-based programs

  • Experience defining and delivering large-scale online initiatives

  • Ability to use data analytics, research, and testing methodologies to drive business decisions and diagnose problems

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority

  • Ability to manage concurrent projects in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

  • Ability to work comfortably with ambiguity, lead autonomously, and make independent decisions

  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Experience creating and delivering succinct presentations to explain and sell plans/vision

  • Working knowledge of Wealth Brokerage products, account servicing, adviser and operations workflows, supervisory controls, financial-services risk, or comparable regulated processes

  • Technical fluency with .NET/C#, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, Python, low-code platforms, workflow, APIs, messaging, batch, SFTP/file transfer, vendor connectivity, and enterprise integration patterns

  • Ability to work all scheduled hours, including overtime as directed

  • Minimal travel, up to 10%

  • English language fluency required
