Job summary

Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Python/React/AWS/AI within the Consumer and Community Banking team. You will be a core technical contributor driving secure, scalable solutions in an agile environment.

As a senior member, you will lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and push AI-enabled practices to improve code quality and delivery speed while ensuring compliance and security across projects.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design and production code.
• Advanced knowledge of Python, React, AWS and AI.
• Proficiency with automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and secure coding practices.
• Experience leading technical reviews and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and troubleshooting across multiple technical areas.
• Develops secure production code and reviews peers' code.
• Improves operational stability by remediating recurring issues.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture and applicability.
• Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies.
• Promotes AI-assisted engineering while ensuring secure, tested outputs.
